Michael Cady, Nick Coons and Richard"Mr. Modem" Sherman host the show every Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. on1310 KXAM here in Phoenix. This week's show features your humble Editor-in-Chief as a guest. Acer will not show off Chrome OS netbook in June

Acer has moved to deny that it will show off the first laptop to use Google's Chrome OS at Computex in June. It had been suggested that the laptop giant was poised to use the Computex show to put a Chrome OS device on show, but the company has insisted that this is not the case."Despite recent rumours in the press regarding the launch of Chrome OS based netbooks at Computex, Acer confirms that it has no short-term plans for such a product," said a hastily written statement from the company

On Saturday 29th of November 2008 LinuxDay was held for the 10th time already in Dornbirn, Austria. Organised by the LUG Vorarlberg in cooperation with HTL Dornbirn, the well-received event is a platform for open source projects to answer questions and show off their latest and greatest versions to a broad public, but also for the students at the HTL Dornbirn to show what they achieved and created by using software libre. KDE was there to show off KDE 4.

InterOp 2009 Las Vegas: Good Bet or Lost Cause? InterOp 2009 is a success by anyone's measure but it's been a mixed bag for me so far. Internet access on the show floor is almost non-existent. For a major tech show like this, it's absolutely ridiculous. You'd think that Internet access would be a standard feature of any technical show--especially for perhaps the largest one of the year in North America.
